Who we are

Peerless Visual Effects Ltd is a new and independent creative studio, founded by Anna Marie Houston in 2025.

While the name pays homage to a long and personal family history in the world of visual storytelling, Peerless Visual Effects is a fresh company - built from the ground up with a forward-thinking mindset and a modern approach to leadership, production, and creative excellence.

Anna grew up immersed in the world of storytelling and post-production, learning about colour, composition, texture, and collaboration almost as early as she learned to walk. After years spent building a career across continents and creative industries, she returned to honour her father’s legacy not by repeating it - but by evolving it.

At the heart of Peerless is a belief that world-class visual effects are only possible when artistry and empathy walk hand in hand. We are a collective of passionate, highly-skilled artists from diverse backgrounds, disciplines, and life experiences. Some of us have worked on blockbuster features, others bring unique skills from commercials, short films, gaming, or animation - but all of us share a dedication to the craft and an unshakable belief in collaboration.
